Google Ads · Real sales

$150,876 in closed sales from Google Ads.

Clicks and "conversions" are easy to show. Signed jobs are harder. This one I can trace all the way to the CRM: 10 jobs, three months, real money.

For a regional window & door company, June to August 2026.

The result
$150,876
in closed sales from Google Ads, June to August 2026
Counted in the company's CRM: deals marked won where the customer first came in from a paid Google search.
10
signed jobs, each one tracked to the CRM
~$1,300
in ad spend for every sale
~$15K
the typical job

That's $12,839 in ads over the three months. When a job is worth around $15K, paying about $1,300 to land one is a good deal.

The honest part

The account was already making money before I took over the ads this spring. The months before were strong too. So I'm not going to tell you I multiplied their return.

What I did: kept the ads selling, and made sure every number in the report was real. That second part mattered more than it sounds.

What I fixed along the way
182
form leads from Google Ads between May and September, matched to real contacts in the CRM. Not guesses.
78 vs 50
In one month, Google Ads counted 78 leads. The CRM had 50 real people. Each price calculator was being counted twice. I fixed it so one person is one lead.
Calls
Call reporting on the ads' phone number had been switched off. People called straight from the ads and Google never knew. I turned it back on.
~$111
The real cost per lead after the fix (September 1 to 20), not the $54 the account showed before. Higher, but true. Now the budget is set on real leads.
What it meant for the business
  • 10 signed jobs, $150,876, traced from the ad to the signed deal.
  • Lead numbers that match the CRM, so the owner isn't budgeting around leads that don't exist.
  • Phone calls from the ads get counted again, so Google can learn who actually calls and find more of them.
A "conversion" is Google's opinion. A signed job is money in the bank. I report on the second one.
